THE IMPULSE
Your hand moves before the decision feels conscious.

A breakable strip across the thing you reach for on autopilot. Five seconds to stop, think, and choose.

THE PROBLEM
Your hand moves before the decision feels conscious.
The strip creates physical friction at exactly the right moment.
Break it—or don’t. Either way, you decide deliberately.
THE 5-SECOND SYSTEM
STICK ITPlace a strip across a fridge, cupboard, device, door, or other trigger point.
PAUSEThe visible barrier interrupts the automatic action and gives you a moment back.
BREAK — OR DON’TIf you open it, the torn strip makes the decision visible and final.
*Target performance requirements subject to sample and surface testing.
REAL-WORLD TRIGGERS
FASTINGKeep the fridge sealed until your eating window begins.
COOKIE JARTurn a reach for another cookie into a conscious choice.
DEVICESClose the laptop and phone—and make reopening work deliberate.
OFFICE FRIDGEMake ownership visible before someone opens your food box.
DOORCreate a visible boundary others notice.
TRAVELA broken strip tells you it was opened.
THE 7-DAY NOPE TAPE CHALLENGE
For seven days, put one fresh strip across the place where autopilot usually wins: your fridge, snack cupboard, phone, or laptop.
The goal is not seven perfect days. It is to notice seven decisions you would normally make without thinking.

Clean removal is a core product requirement. Final claims will only be published after adhesive testing across representative household surfaces. Always test an inconspicuous area first.
The current target specification is 35 mm wide and 10 m long, with two rolls per pack. Final production specifications may change after sample testing.
The proposed standard roll includes blank write-on spaces between printed hazard stripes. Add a time, name, or short rule with a marker. Surface and marker compatibility will be confirmed during testing.
No. NOPE TAPE is a behavior-design tool and visible tamper cue. It is not a child-safety lock, security seal, or substitute for access control.
