THE PROBLEM

MOST IMPULSE DECISIONS
HAPPEN ON AUTOPILOT.

01

THE IMPULSE

Your hand moves before the decision feels conscious.

03

THE CHOICE

Break it—or don’t. Either way, you decide deliberately.

THE 5-SECOND SYSTEM

STICK.PAUSE.CHOOSE.

STICK IT

Place a strip across a fridge, cupboard, device, door, or other trigger point.

2

PAUSE

The visible barrier interrupts the automatic action and gives you a moment back.

3

BREAK IT — OR DON’T

If you open it, the torn strip makes the decision visible and final.

WRITE-ON SPACE

ONE STANDARD ROLL.
YOUR DETAIL.

The tape stays pre-printed and ready to use. Blank spaces between the warning stripes let you add a time, name, or short rule with a marker.

THE 7-DAY NOPE TAPE CHALLENGE

7 DAYS.
7 STRIPS.

For seven days, put one fresh strip across the place where autopilot usually wins: your fridge, snack cupboard, phone, or laptop.

1SEAL ONE TRIGGERUse one new strip each day.
2PAUSE FOR 5 SECONDSBefore breaking it, ask: “Do I choose this—or is it autopilot?”
3RECORD THE RESULTIntact or broken? Note what happened, then reset tomorrow.

The goal is not seven perfect days. It is to notice seven decisions you would normally make without thinking.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

FAQ

Is NOPE TAPE already available?+

Not yet. We are validating the first production version. Join the First Drop list to hear when samples and launch timing are confirmed.

Will it leave residue?+

Clean removal is a core product requirement. Final claims will only be published after adhesive testing across representative household surfaces. Always test an inconspicuous area first.

How wide and long will each roll be?+

The current target specification is 35 mm wide and 10 m long, with two rolls per pack. Final production specifications may change after sample testing.

Can I write on it?+

The proposed standard roll includes blank write-on spaces between printed hazard stripes. Add a time, name, or short rule with a marker. Surface and marker compatibility will be confirmed during testing.

Is this a lock or security device?+

No. NOPE TAPE is a behavior-design tool and visible tamper cue. It is not a child-safety lock, security seal, or substitute for access control.
